Free SAT and ACT Day on May 2!

SAT at Cherry Creek High School    ACT at Rock Canyon High School

How does free test day work? Students can choose to take a full-length retired SAT, ACT, or both. The SAT will be offered at Cherry Creek High School from 9:00am-1:00pm, and the ACT will be offered at Rock Canyon High School from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. Students (or their parents) should call 303-939-9100 to reserve a spot early, since these tests do fill up very quickly. We do our best to simulate actual test day conditions to help students prepare for every aspect of the exam, from increased nervousness to the the long testing hours. After the test, students will get a full report that details their performance on each question and gives their overall composite scores. Students can also sign up for a free results consultation to help them make sense of the report and determine what to study in order to ace the official exams.

Parent Session Details: While students take their tests, parents can attend a free college admissions seminar to help them learn the ins and outs of the college application process. This presentation will run during the SAT at Cherry Creek from 9:00am to 11:00am and during the ACT at Rock Canyon from 3:30pm-5:30pm. We have a phenomenal lineup of speakers who will focus solely on information that will help families prepare for college. First, I will discuss the details of the official SAT and ACT in a presentation titled racking the ACT and SAT ?An Inside Look at the Admissions Testing Process.?Second, Russell Fruits, Northern Colorado Manager of Solutions for Tuition, will present "10 Ways to Cut the Cost of College" and ow to Market Your Student Athlete to Receive Scholarships.?Finally, Robin Boren, the College Doctor, will present tips on ntangling the College Maze.?
Tools for you: I've attached a flyer that you can put up around the school, send home in newsletters, and/or post online. I've also attached a sample email that you can send on to your students. I know how busy you are and I want to make getting the word out about this event as easy as possible. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help.
